Flexible Destinations – start or end your charter anywhere in Northern Michigan. It allows you to go farther without doubling back. We’ll deliver the yacht to you, or we’ll pick it up at the end of your charter and we’ll deliver your car as needed.
We’ve come up with a simple process to arrange a flexible destination:

- Create your own Flexible Destination by:
- Call the Bay Breeze office with your desired start and ending locations.
- We’ll deliver your boat to where you want to start or we’ll pick it up where you want to end. You decide the cruising itinerary and we’ll deliver the boat.
- The flexible destination fee is our regular captain’s delivery fee and the “plus day” charter rate for each day it takes to get the boat to and from, unless we can find a return charter. Many of the featured one-way charters below have no delivery fee!
- We will post your charter dates on this web page. If another charter party coordinates to drop off /return the boat, the captain fee is waived and the “plus days” charge will be waived.
- We’re flexible when charging the “plus day” fee. If it’s the slower part of the season or if the boat isn’t turning away other charter revenue because of delivery time or if another charter party coordinates the delivery, we can waive the “plus day” fee.
Flexible Charter Postings:
Straits of Mackinaw for a limited time – Hunter 45 DS” Northern Breeze” in the Straits of Mackinaw - (she’s normally at our Traverse City base). Sail anytime from June 16th to June 25th startign and ending at the Duncan Bay Boat Club in Cheboygan. Take advantage of off-season discounts.
Traverse City to Cheboygan, MI – Catalina 320 “Mary Kate” – start anytime, end your charter in Cheboygan, Michigan by June 14th. Off-season discounts apply and there are no extra fees, plus we’ll drive your vehicle to you.
Traverse City to Bay Harbor, MI – Gemini Catamaran “Gemini” – start anytime in Traverse City and end in Bay Harbor Marina by June 14th. Off-season discounts apply and we’ll drive your vehicle to you with no extra fees.
Bay Harbor to Traverse City, MI – Gemini Catamaran “Gemini” – start June 18 in Bay Harbor Marina (sleep-aboard the 17th is available) and end anytime in Traverse City. Regular pricing applies with no additional fees, plus we’ll deliver your vehicle to to you.
Cheboygan to Traverse City, MI – Beneteau 323 “GodSpeed” - start your charter June 22 from the Duncan Bay Boat Club in Cheboygan, MI and end your charter in Traverse City. Take as many days as you like. Regular pricing applies with no additional fees. And we’ll deliver your car to you!
Charlevoix to Traverse City, MI – Catalina 400 “Betty Ann” – start your charter July 16 in Charlevoix (with boarding available the evening of July 15) and end your charter sometime before 4:00 pm July 22 in Traverse City. Regular rates apply plus additional $100 car delivery fee.
