 Interior Layout
The roomy galley boasts a custom molded, one piece counter top, dry food locker and overhead cup storage. The increased counter space conceals the built in trash chute under the cutting block top. Three cedar lined hanging lockers and three huge double berths allow plenty of room for crew and overnight guests. The wide aft cabin has an even larger berth, upholstered seat and new bureau. A fixed port in the hull, and large overhead ventilation/escape hatch provide plenty of light air flow. The roomy head is still aft, where it is closest to the cockpit. This uncommonly large compartment provides plenty of storage space, as well as hot water shower and seat.

Deck Layout
The deck layout of the Catalina 34” is comfortable and convenient. The skipper will find the familiar traditional pedestal steering station with a 40 inch stainless wheel. Low maintenance, high strength stainless steel rails have replaced all teak rails on deck. The oversize anchor locker comes with a standard electric windlass and new heavier anchor roller. Large two speed primary and secondary winches allow crew members to adjust sail trim single-handed. At the end of the day, the skipper will appreciate the standard Dutchman mainsail containment system.
