Captained Charters - For an additional fee (see below for rates), a friendly, licensed Captain is available on any of our yachts for cruising the many harbor towns and exploring islands along the way. For the day or for a week, sit back and relax or take the helm. You can be as active as you like! And check out our new “Discover Cruising” charters with Captains Bob & Ann.
Damage Deposit (refundable) - Held upon arrival at the charter base and can be paid with cash, credit card or cashier’s check (no personal checks). Refundable at the end of the charter pending damages. Damage deposit amounts are based on boat length:
- $500 up to 34 feet
- $750 35 – 39 feet
- $1000 40 feet and up.
- Additional $500 for charters of 14 days or longer
Damage Insurance (non-refundable) – $30 per day maximum $300 per charter. Protects the charterer against damages exceeding the damage deposit amount.
State Sales Tax – 6% of the charter fee (Michigan sales tax)
