2008 Nordic Tug Rendezvous Announced

The 2008 Great Lakes Nordic Tug Rendezvous will be held June 20th - 22nd in Charlevoix at the new city marina. Last years rendezvous saw a total of 13 visiting Nordic Tugs to Traverse City. 20 slips have been set aside for our gathering and we hope to ask for more from Harbormaster Hal Evans. The agenda and registration forms will be posted soon. We’re looking forward to a great event, have many activities planned and hope all Nordic Tug owners and enthusiasts will attend.

Bay Breeze Sails to Toronto in January

Bay Breeze attended the Toronto International Boat Show in January and we saw a very different show than we are normally accustom to. Something fresh, different and totally new. A boat show with an indoor lake with wake boarding, sailing, fishing and boat handling demonstrations. An entire hockey rink flooded with over a million gallons of Lake Ontario to 3 1\2 feet in depth. Quite the production to say the least. The entire hall was packed with sail and power boats, hundreds of exhibitors and marine oriented products. A great show all around. Take a weekend or more, spend some time in Toronto and go to the Toronto International Boat Show in 2009.

Charlevoix Marina Expands

Charlevoix Marina has expanded the municipal docks and the waterfrom park is receiving an entire makeover as part of the improvements planned for the last three years. Total capacity will double from the previous number of boats the marina could handle. In addition to the marina, the waterfron park will feature a new bath house, Harbormasters office and park facilities that will indeed make Charlevoix a must stop over for cruisers this summer. The docks are due to be completed by mid July and the additional facilities by the end of the year.

Rosborough Rendezvous Agenda and Registration

New Charter Fleet Addition

We are pleased to announce a new vessel addition to the charter fleet. A Tartan 34-2 will be available out of Traverse City for the 2007 season. Rosborough Rendezvous

Bay Breeze Yacht Sales will hold the very first Great Lakes Rosborough Rendezvous June 29 - July 1st, 2007. Held at the Bay Breeze Yacht Sales facility in Traverse City, Michigan, the two day event will be held in conjunction with the Nordic Tug Rendezvous the same weekend. Seminars of all types will be presented and social events are being planned. The agenda and registration information will be published very soon. The first Great Lakes Nordic Tug Rendezvous dates have been established for the long awaited first meeting. Bay Breeze Yacht Sales will host the gathering set for June 29 - July 1, 2007. Informative seminars and activities are being planned for the event to be held at the Bay Breeze facility in Traverse City, Michigan.
