In 2010, Bay Breeze instructor Dan Spyhalski (ASA Instructor of the Year) will be teaching sailing courses from the Rob Swain base in Tortola.  Captain Dan was a St. Croix local in a former life before coming to teach at Bay Breeze and has lived aboard his 1968 Cal 40 “Spyke” for the past 8 years… and yes, even all winter long with the help of a coal burning furnace.  This winter will probably be a welcome change in climate for Dan as he heads to the tropics.
